Buttermere Heather
A beautiful Buttermere sunset as the last light of day sets over my favourite place in the Lake District.
I composed this image so that the lake of Buttermere can be seen catching the stunning golden colours of the sunset with the heather complimenting this in the foreground of the photograph.
A lovely brooding sky finishes the composition off with the gorgeous light filtering across the landscape.
